TChuria is an important part of Kolkheti National Park. Endemic species of endangered flora included in the Red List of Threatened Species can be found here, along with vagrant birds of great interest to birdwatchers. You can sail in the area – reminiscent of the Amazon of Samegrelo! –  and you can stay in the cottages or set up a tent just off the river bank.
