A few kilometers from Senaki to Martvili, on the right side of the road, you will see a brick church built by Levan II Dadiani. The town built here, is today known as the old Senaki village. This is also the location of one of the first schools in Samegrelo where many famous Georgian public figures of the 19^th-20^th century studied. In the center of the village stands an 800-year-old plane tree.
