Lagurka is a church-type temple built in the XI century for the Holy Martyrs, Kvirike and Ivlita. One of the most important monuments of Georgian monumental architecture, it stores the priceless icons of St. Kvirike.

Lagurka is situated on a steep area of a sacral mountain. There is a path bringing you to Shaliani, a reliquary in which Svans swear to in order to find out the truth! In this area, no political or other important decisions are made without swearing to this icon.
