Ushguli is the highest inhabited settlement in Europe and is listed as an UNESCO World Heritage Site. Located at an altitude of 2,100 meters above sea level, there are four rural settlements in Ushguli. Ushguli is the place where the most prominent of the Svaneti towers, where Queen Tamar’s, the first female king, towers of XII-XIII centuries are located.
